Set at the end of a little lane with no passing traffic, complete privacy in a peaceful and relaxing setting. The traditional stone farmhouse has been tastefully renovated to retain its original charm yet provide modern comforts and amenities, and a 10m x 5m swimming pool.
The house is approximately 250 years old, and is restored to a high standard. There are original beams, wooden and quarry tile floors and large fireplace with wood-burning stove.
There is a sunny patio to the side of the house, with shade from an apple tree. The garden slopes down to attractive woods, with the swimming pool in the centre.
The garden is totally private, and birds and wildlife abound in the natural woodland. A variety of trees provide plenty of shade.
The house is only 3Km from the historic village of Bourdeilles with its 11th Century Chateau, and 15km from the picturesque town of Brantôme.
